WESA Offers Two Scholarships: Scholar-Athlete and Citizenship

Scholar-Athlete Scholarship
The West End Soccer Association, continuing the tradition of recognizing our scholar-athletes, has established an annual Scholarship program. We offer a $500.00 grant for a graduating high school senior who is matriculating to a full-time post-secondary educational institution.
To be eligible for this scholarship the student must have participated in the West End Soccer program for at least 5 years prior to reaching age 16. A scholarship committee shall select the best-qualified applicant based upon a written application, scholastic academic record and participation in community and/or school activities.

Citizenship Scholarship
The West End Soccer Association is also very pleased to offer a Citizenship Scholarship. A one year $500.00 scholarship will be awarded to an eligible graduating High School student who is matriculating to a full-time post-secondary educational institution.
To be eligible for this scholarship the student must have participated in the West End Soccer Program for at least 5 years prior to reaching age 16. The applicant must also have participated in West End in capacities other than player, such as refereeing, training, etc. A citizenship scholarship committee shall select the best-qualified applicant based upon a written application and participation in West End activities.
